During this excursion you will visit Lake Sevan, the pearl of this mountainous country and one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia. You will see Sevanavanq, a monastery complex on the Sevan peninsula, from here you can see all the beauty of Lake Sevan. A religious seminary currently operates here, which is not easily open to the public. Then you will go to Dilijan, also known as “Armenian Switzerland” for its fantastic natural forests. The city is part of the Diliján National Park. The next stop is the Goshavanq Monastery, surrounded by green territories. Finally, you will visit Haghartsin, a 10th century monastery that has been recently renovated by the gift of Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, the ruler of Sharjah, who was impressed by the monastery when he visited it.
